When

Retrace the steps of a monsoon-season journey through this still remote and underexplored corner of India. We will explore this botanical biodiversity hotspot through horticultural, conservation, and cultural lenses. Alongside an incredible diversity of ferns both terrestrial and epiphytic, we will also look at the explosion of flowers brought on by the rainy season from sweeps of Primula to 7 species of Meconopsis.

Silas Zoeller is the collection manager at Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy and a rabid rare plant enthusiast. Previous experience working at some of the great gardens in the UK led to an interest in conservation and the abolition of any plant lust horizons. While he refuses to be pinned into any one type of plants, ancient plant lineages remain a favorite, including ferns of all sorts.
