Emily Joseph portraitEmily Joseph is the Nursery & Sales Manager for the Hardy Fern Foundation and the Assistant Nursery Manager & Retail Sales Manager at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. She is a Washington state Certified Professional Horticulturist and holds degrees in Environmental Horticulture and Fine Art. Beyond her professional endeavors, Emily enjoys traveling, photographing the flora that inspires her work, and sharing her discoveries with the horticultural community.

As recipient of the 2025 Fellowship Exchange with the International Plant Propagators’ Society (IPPS), Emily traveled to New Zealand to explore the diverse and ancient flora of the islands. Highlights from her journey include enchanting endemic ferns, world-class botanical gardens, behind-the-scenes visits to private production nurseries, and insightful exchanges with plant professionals during the IPPS International Conference.
