Description
This fern discovered in the garden of Nancy Swell on the east coast of the United States is thought by many to be a hybrid between Athyrium niponicum ‘Pictum’ and Athyrium filix-femina. With its attractive upright fronds in shades of silvery green this fern is easy to place in the garden in need of color. Athyrium Ghost likes evenly moist soil and part to full shade. Fronds will burn with too much sun.
