Our second lecture in our Winter Webinar Series is held jointly with the British Pteridological Society! December will bring us to the United Kingdom with some notes and thoughts from a true lover of ferns, Julian Reed. Julian will talk on eccentricities of some ferns and also new finds in the fern world, some with long histories and others very new. He has been enamored with this wonderful group of plants since 1979 but his passion really took off in the 2000s when he joined the BPS.
Julian is an elected committee member of the British Pteridological Society as well as a member of the Cultivar Group within the BPS. He currently holds the honor of being the custodian of the National Collections of Polystichum and Polypodium cultivars.
