When

Saturday, February 21, 2026, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PST

The Jones Nature Prints are a remarkable and historic record of some of the most notable fern varieties selected during the Victorian era. Produced between 1876 and 1880, few complete sets survive today. These rare and beautiful, life-size prints capture choice ferns with striking detail. In this webinar, Julian Reed will share his insights into this fascinating body of work, revealing how science and art come together in these extraordinary prints. Thanks to archivist Michael Hayward, reproductions of these prints are now readily available.

Presented in partnership with the British Pteridological Society and the Dutch Fern Society.
