Great things are happening with ferns in the Pacific Northwest, USA. Join Richie Steffen, past president of the Hardy Fern Foundation and executive director of the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden in Seattle, Washington as he shares his views on fern introduction and production in the Pacific NW and how this can be a benefit to the greater fern community. Richie will highlight some of the more interesting ferns and ferny locations that can be found in the region along with some of the cultivars of these NW natives. Richie will also share an exciting peek at new ferns being introduced from around the world and talk about how the Hardy Fern Foundation is working to get these ferns into production.
This Zoom lecture is a free benefit for members of the Hardy Fern Foundation and the British Pteridological Society, but registration is required. A recording of the webinar will be available to those who register for four weeks after the webinar date.
