Bart Hendrikx is the chairman for the Dutch Fern Society and is an avid collector of all sorts of plants. He collects not only ferns but other shade plants and rare or unusual trees and shrubs. He is chairman for the Dutch Fern Society. He specializes in growing Dryopteris, Dryopteris and Polypodium cultivars, and other ferns.
