Join the Hardy Fern Foundation’s Nursery Manager, Emily Joseph, on a tour of the RSBG/HFF fern collection, including the iconic stumpery, with a special focus on summer spore collection across a variety of genera. Learn how the HFF collects spore, sows, and grows the sporeling ferns that are offered at our spring/fall Fern Fests and in the annual distribution catalog. Attendees will have the chance to visit the HFF hoop at the RSBG production nursery to see first-hand how ferns are propagated and grown from spore collection into salable plants.
