Ferns of the Pacific Northwest with Richie Steffen
Ferns are a signature plant for the Pacific Northwest. Our forests are filled with the beautiful, ubiquitous and easy to grow Western sword fern. It is not uncommon to find a great expanse of bracken rambling over roadsides and meadows, but there is much more this unique region has to offer. Richie Steffen, long-time board member and officer of the Hardy Fern Foundation and Executive Director of the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden will share some of the ferns he has seen and grown during his years exploring the PNW flora and gardening in the Puget Sound region.
Attending the annual meeting is free, but registration is required and guests are limited to Hardy Fern Foundation Members only.
