There and Back Again: A Pteridologist’s Tale
Far away there lays a land rich with ferns and legendary beauty. This land is called New Zealand. Join fellow fern lovers in hearing about tiny paper-thin ferns and ferns as tall with giant fronds reaching over fifteen feet growing taller than trees!
Richie Steffen, president of the Hardy Fern Foundation and executive director of the Elisabeth C Miller Botanical Garden, will share his tales of travel in New Zealand highlighting its incredible flora and breathtaking landscape. Be sure to come and enjoy this story of the weird and wonderful plants that grow in this distant land.
